This is the black-vinyl version of our first ever record! It is a 7" single which includes specially mixed and mastered versions of Tsunami Gaiden and The Genesis Machine. It comes with a sticker (while supplies last) and inner and outer plastic sleeves.
It also includes a download code to download digital records of Tim's very own 7" complete even with a few pops and clicks for an authentic feel. If you can't play the 7" directly, this is the next best thing!
Huge thanks to the fans that helped us get here via our Kickstarter campaign! You have our never-ending support (and hope you enjoy the colored signed version of the 7")!
Includes unlimited streaming of Chipsurf Pipeline
via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
In a similar vein to Phoenix Down, The Genesis Machine is about epic beginnings and the circumstance therein. Though we aimed for no direct 8-bit inspired archetype for this song, it fits many a story often found in both classic games and even some modern ones.
The Genesis Machine was the first song we composed on the GameBoy with the NES taking the role of accompaniment instead of being the driving force like it is in many of our other songs. It makes use of all 4 channels on the GameBoy and all 5 off the NES' 2A03 sound-chip.
